To conclude our year 2016 we have met a lot of wonderful people from all over the world. My battery was  dying so I could not complete the rest of our time in La Paz and the end of the year so with that being said here are a few more pictures. We also like to thank our tennis group in La Paz which we played several hours 3 days a week, great fun. By December  31, 2016 we have sailed a total of 3,467 nautical miles. we hope you have enjoyed them.

Hi again from sv Shearwater with Pati and Eric. Here are are high lights from 2016, we hope you enjoy them.Sunset in La Paz Becky, Armando, Megan, Adi and Rylie´s Visit in March 2016 was great. We took a tour over  to Lopez Mateo Magdalena Bay and pet the baby Grey Whales it was fantastic. one baby stayed around our ponga for a half an hour, for lots of petting, Wow unforgettable.

Next we took them sight seeing in La Paz and then sailed over  to Espiritu Santo for a couple of days snorkeling, paddle boarding and just having fun.

Next we sailed North Isla San Fransisco, San Evaristo, Los Gatos, Aqua Verde (one of our favorites) and stopped in Puerto Escondido (another favorite) for a while. we also loved Loreto From there we sailed North again to Isla Coronados where we hiked to the top of the extinct Volcano. From there North to San Juanico and up into the Bahia Conception and spent 4th of July. We went to several different anchorages and took a truck ride up ti the pretty little town of Mulege. At this time we were sailing with 6 other boats it was a lot of fun.

Our next adventure was to sail across the Sea of Cortez to San Carlos it took  12 hours but caught some Mai Mai yum )

We spent the summer in San Carlos . we took a train ride to Copper Canyon in  August it was a great time with our friends from mv Delta Swizzler, Cindy and Mark.

Like I said it was spectacular.
While in San Carlos we experienced our  first hurricane . Hurricane Newton came into San Carlos in the evening of Sept. 7th and blew through the night until 3.am. we had sustained 60 knots of wind in the harbor. 25 boats were blown over while in dry storage inn San Carlos and one complete dock came apart in the San Carlos Harbor. Lucky we had no damage.

We enjoyed staying in San Carlos for the summer of 2016.

From San Carlos we sailed up north to Tiburon Island, and then across the Sea again to Isla Partida then to Puerto Don Juan and Bahia De los Angeles which was a cute little town. From there we sailed north to Puerto Refugio on he northern tip of Isla Angel de la Guarda. Just 140 nautical miles south of the Colorado River Delta and end of the Sea of Cortez. Where we enjoyed snorkeling with the sea lions and scuba diving in crystal clear water.
